Cobham ~ the
lost jewel is a brief history of the village of Cobham and the
parish of Luddesdown. Cobham is the location of an Elizabethan hall
which became the home of the Earls of Darnley.
Cobham was a favourite haunt of Charles Dickens who used it as a setting
in Pickwick Papers.
